Privacy Policy
Plain English, no filler. This explains what TrainHer Pro collects, why, who else touches it, and how to make it stop.
TrainHer Pro is a fitness coaching and digital products business run by Ardelia Lampkin in the United States. We are a small operation. We collect the least we can get away with, we do not sell your information, and we do not run ads on it.
1. What we collect
Information you type into a form
When you book a free consultation or send a message, we collect the name, email address, phone number and answers you give us: your training goal, your experience level, where you train, and anything else you write in. We also record whether you ticked the box agreeing to receive text messages.
Purchase information
When you buy a program, a guide, a bundle or a membership, we receive your name, email address, what you bought, when, and the amount. We never see or store your full card number. Card details go straight to our payment processor and stay there.
Member portal activity
If you have a member account, the portal records the things you would expect it to: which programs you have access to, workouts you log or mark complete, messages between you and your coach, and any measurements, photos or notes you choose to upload. You put that in. You can ask us to remove it.
Basic technical information
Like nearly every website, our host records standard web server information: IP address, browser type, the page you asked for, and the page that referred you. Our consultation form also records the campaign tags in the link you arrived from, so we know which post or ad brought you here. [REVIEW] confirm whether any analytics or advertising pixel, for example Google Analytics or the Meta pixel, is installed on the site, and name it here if so
2. Why we collect it
- To reply to you and to run your consultation call.
- To deliver what you paid for and to give you access to it.
- To coach you: your goals and your logged training are what the coaching is built on.
- To send receipts, access links, and account notices. These are not marketing and you cannot unsubscribe from them while you have an active purchase or membership.
- To send training tips and offers, but only to people who asked for them.
- To keep records we are required to keep, mainly for tax and payment disputes.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade email or phone lists.
3. Who processes it for us
We use a small number of outside services to actually run the business. Each one only gets what it needs to do its job, and each one has its own privacy policy.
- Payments. Stripe processes card payments and stores card data. We see the outcome of a payment, not the card. [REVIEW] confirm Stripe is the only payment processor, and add PayPal, Apple Pay or any other method if used
- Coaching platform and delivery. Our coaching platform hosts the member portal at app.trainherpro.com, holds your account, and serves your purchased files through permission checked links tied to your account.
- Email and text messages. An email and messaging provider sends receipts, access links, and any marketing you signed up for. [REVIEW] name the email and SMS provider used, so this is accurate
- Web hosting. Our host serves this website and keeps standard server logs.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety. If the business is ever sold or transferred, customer records would transfer with it.
4. Text messages and how to stop them
We only text you if you ticked the SMS consent box on a form. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply from your carrier.
To stop texts, reply STOP to any message from us. You will get one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and then nothing further. Reply HELP to any message for help, or email hello@trainherpro.com.
Consenting to texts is not a condition of buying anything. Your phone number and your SMS consent are never shared with anyone for their own marketing.
5. Email and how to stop it
Every marketing email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it and you are off that list, usually straight away. You can also email hello@trainherpro.com and ask.
Transactional email is different. Receipts, access links, password resets and notices about your membership are part of the service. Those keep coming while your account is active.
6. Cookies
This marketing site uses very little. Your browser may store standard items so pages work correctly. The member portal uses cookies to keep you signed in, which is what makes the portal usable at all. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but the portal will not keep you logged in if you do. [REVIEW] if any advertising or analytics cookie is added later, this section and section 1 must be updated before it goes live
7. How long we keep things
- Consultation and contact form submissions: kept while you are a prospective or active client, and removed on request. [REVIEW] confirm a retention period for enquiries that never convert, for example 24 months
- Purchase and payment records: kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
- Member portal accounts: kept while your account is open, and for a short period after it closes so you can come back without losing your history.
- Marketing lists: removed when you unsubscribe.
8. Security
Payments run through a processor that handles card data to industry standards, and the site and portal are served over an encrypted connection. No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise. Use a strong, unique password on your member account and tell us at once if you think someone else has got into it.
9. Your choices
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your information, except records we are legally required to keep.
- Stop sending you marketing, by email or by text.
Email hello@trainherpro.com from the address on your account and we will handle it. We may need to confirm it is really you first. [REVIEW] confirm whether state privacy laws such as the California CCPA apply to this business, and add the required rights language if they do
10. Children
TrainHer Pro is built for adults. This site and the coaching are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it. [REVIEW] confirm the minimum age for buying a program or joining a membership, and keep it consistent with the Terms
11. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top of this page, and we will email active members if the change affects them.
12. Contact us
Questions about privacy, or a request about your data, go to hello@trainherpro.com. Replies go out within 24 hours, Monday to Friday. [REVIEW] add a postal mailing address if one should be published here
