This isn't a story about someone who was always in shape. It's a story about struggle, discovery, and a commitment to help others find what she had to find the hard way.
Ardelia Lampkin didn't grow up knowing anything about fitness. For much of her early life, nutrition and exercise were unfamiliar territory, just like they are for many women who find their way to TrainHer Pro today.
When she entered the military, fitness wasn't optional. And she struggled. She failed PT. That kind of failure in front of others, when your body just won't do what you're asking it to do, is a particular kind of hard.
But instead of letting it define her, she let it fuel her.
Years later, reconnecting with her father brought an unexpected gift: an introduction to weightlifting. What started as learning how to lift became something much deeper. The gym became a place of healing, a space to build discipline, knowledge, and confidence one rep at a time.
For nearly 20 years, Ardelia has lived and breathed fitness. Weight training, nutrition, strength, recovery, lifestyle, she's studied it, practiced it, and lived it every single day.
And somewhere along the way, people started noticing. On social media, in everyday life, they wanted to know: how did you do it? Can you help me?
"My mission is simple: give back what I had to figure out the hard way. I want to help women who are exactly where I once was, without guidance, without direction, without anyone who believed they could do it."
Ardelia Lampkin, Founder of TrainHer Pro
Grew up without exposure to structured fitness or nutrition. Like most people, the "how" of taking care of your body was never taught.
Entered the military and faced her first true fitness challenge, struggling with PT and even experiencing failure. A defining and humbling moment.
Reconnecting with her father introduced her to the weight room. What began as curiosity became a daily practice and a form of healing.
Nearly two decades immersed in weight training, nutrition, lifestyle, and personal development. Built knowledge that only comes from sustained lived experience.
Launched TrainHer Pro to help everyday people shortcut the learning curve, build confidence, and transform their lives through fitness.
TrainHer Pro isn't about aesthetics for their own sake. It's about what strength does to your life: your confidence, your discipline, your energy, your mental health, your relationships.
Ardelia built TrainHer Pro for the person who doesn't know where to start. The person who has tried and failed before. The person who thinks fitness "isn't for them."
Because she was that person. And she knows exactly what it takes to get from there to here.
Real transformation takes real work. Every program is designed to challenge you, and every challenge is designed to change you.
Ardelia doesn't just tell you what to do. She explains why. Understanding your training makes it stick for life.
TrainHer Pro is a community of women helping each other grow, not a leaderboard. Your only competition is who you were yesterday.
Your turning point can start today. Ardelia's waiting to help you write it.
